This is an easy and sure-fire way to make hard-boiled eggs. Boiling eggs in water is often inconsistent. Steaming is fool-proof and also makes peeling easy. This is known as the 5-5-5 method.
- About 6 to 9 eggs
- 6 oz. of water
- Cold water
Directions
- Put 6 oz of water in Instant Pot
- Place the trivet in the pot
- Place eggs on the trivet
- Steam at high pressure for five minutes
- Natural release for five minutes
- Place eggs in a pot of cold water for five minutes
- Peeled, will last 3 days in the fridge. Unpeeled, eat within 5 days.
